5.1 Installation
This section provides information for installing with or without (manual) the MapRInstaller, installing patches, upgrading, and migrating.

  The MapR Installer makes the installation of a MapR cluster easy. It installs MapR software after it takes you through the process of selecting services and configuring the cluster.

MapR Hadoop requires a valid license file, even for the free MapR Converged Community Edition.
