Permissions

The User Permissions dialog lets you grant specific cluster permissions to particular users and groups.

  • User/Group field - the user or group to which permissions are to be granted (one user or group per row)
  • Permissions field - the permissions to grant to the user or group (see the Permissions table below)
  • Delete button ( ) - deletes the current row
  • [ + Add Permission ] - adds a new row

Cluster Permissions

The following table lists the actions a user can perform on a cluster, and the corresponding codes used in the cluster ACL:

Administrative access (can edit and view ACLs, but cannot perform cluster operations)

Full control over the cluster (this enables all cluster-related administrative options with the exception of changing the cluster ACLs)

  • OK - save changes and exit
  • Cancel - exit without saving changes
